Jordan Little Killed in Semi Truck Accident on Highway 43 [Bakersfield, CA]

42-Year-Old Man Dies after Colliding with Semi Truck on Highway 43 near Panama Lane

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 30, 2023) – Jordan Daniel Little was killed after colliding with a semi truck in Bakersfield Wednesday afternoon on October 25.
 
The fatal crash happened around 12:13 p.m. on Highway 43, just north of Panama Lane. According to the California Highway Patrol, Little was driving a Kia Sol SUV southbound on Highway 43 when he veered into the northbound lanes and into the path of a Freightliner, driven by 32-year-old Daniel Alberto Moreno of Delano.
 
The left front of the Kia collided with the left front of the Freightliner.
 
As a result, Little suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 42-year-old Bakersfield resident, according to the Kern County Coroner.
 
Moreno sustained minor injuries and told officers he would seek medical treatment on his own.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash, which is still under investigation.
