Car Crashes into Construction Site in Westminster Killing 18-Year-Old Girl
WESTMINSTER, CA (December 11, 2022) – Jayda Jean Feeney was killed in a car accident in Westminster Tuesday evening on December 6.
The fatal accident happened just before 9:40 p.m. at Westminster Boulevard and Rancho Road. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, a car crashed through concrete barricades and ended up teetering over a huge trench built for the county’s sewer project construction site.

Feeney, was one of the passengers in the car. She died at the scene. She was 18 years old from Huntington Beach.
The 18-year-old driver, who underwent emergency surgery, was expected to remain hospitalized another eight to 10 days. Investigators were working on a search warrant to test his blood to see if he was impaired by drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.
The other two victims, who are 16 years old, also underwent surgery.
