DELHI, CA (May 3, 2021) — Jason Anthony Peterson suffered major injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Stephens Street and Shendel Avenue Sunday, April 25.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian crash happened around 12:30 a.m. Under unknown circumstances, a driver struck 38-year-old Peterson in a marked crosswalk.
 
Shortly after, the vehicle, described as a possible Hyundai Elantra, fled the scene. Due to his wounds, emergency personnel responded and treated Peterson for major left leg and head injury.
