23-Year-Old Jadyn Fife Dies in Accident Caused by Semi-Truck on Bogue Road

 
YUBA CITY, CA (November 27, 2023) – Authorities identified 23-year-old Jadyn Fife as the victim killed in a semi-truck accident on Bogue Road, Wednesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on November 15, at about 8:40 p.m. A northbound semi-truck collided with a southbound 2007 Toyota Yaris that was turning left to eastbound Bogue Road.
 
An air ambulance transported Fife, who was a passenger in the Toyota, to Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Unfortunately, Fife succumbed to his injuries on November 19.
 
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver, identified as Dominic McKibbon, suffered moderate injuries. As per reports, McKibbon was later transferred to the Intensive Care Unit at UC Davis Trauma Center for further treatment.
 
The semi-truck driver, 20-year-old Gurninder Singh Rai, cooperated with investigators. He did not sustain injuries.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
