Ivan Bruyako Dies in Suspected Hit-and-Run Crash on Florin Road near Stockton Boulevard

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (August 14, 2023) — Ivan Bruyako died in a suspected hit-and-run accident on Florin Road near Stockton Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol South Sacramento office, the deadly hit-and-run happened in the Florin neighborhood around 9:45 p.m. Saturday. Authorities received several calls of a pedestrian lying in the roadway. After responding, authorities found 37-year-old Bruyako, as identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
 
Traffic investigators believe a driver left the scene after hitting the Sacramento man. Fire Personnel arrived minutes later and transported him to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
 
Due to the crash, authorities closed the two left turn lanes of eastbound Florin Road to investigate the cause. Currently, officers have no witnesses or physical evidence pointing to the suspect involved. Although, if anyone can help investigators, please call the CHP South Sacramento office.
