Itay Zaiger, Nicholas Tasooji Booked, Fight Results in 1 Being Hit by Vehicle on Beach Street at Forest Avenue

 
LAGUNA BEACH, CA (December 13, 2024) — Police arrested Itay Zaiger and Nicholas Tasooji after an altercation at a bar resulted in one person being hit by a car on Beach Street at Forest Avenue.
 
According to the Laguna Beach Police Department, the altercation happened on December 7 around 2:19 a.m. Authorities learned that two groups of men began arguing at a bar. The heated exchange carried outside where the confrontation turned physical. That is when 25-year-old Zaiger tackled another fellow from the opposing group and kicked him in the head, causing moderate head trauma to the victim. Subsequently, 39-year-old Tasooji, a friend of the victim who sustained head trauma, entered a vehicle and drove the car into one of Zaiger’s friends, an unidentified 28-year-old man. The man hit by the car suffered serious injuries to his lower extremities.
 
After the incident, Tasooji left the scene, but police arrested him shortly thereafter.
 
At this time, officers have Tasooji booked into the Orange County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon. Zaiger faces assault charges, as well.
