Car Hits Child on the Way to Selma High School near Floral Avenue

 
SELMA, CA (December 13, 2022) – A girl was hospitalized in a pedestrian accident near Floral Avenue and Wright Street in Selma on Thursday morning.
 
On December 8, officers were called in the area, just south of Selma High School after receiving reports of a child being hit by a car. Upon arrival, they found the girl suffering from unspecified injuries.
 
Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
The involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with officers.
 
Alcohol and drugs did not play a role in the crash. The Selma Police Department is handling the investigation.
