Gabriel Martinez Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Highway 26 near Pinasco Road

 
STOCKTON, CA (September 22, 2022) — Gabriel Martinez died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Highway 26 near Pinasco Road on Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 4:37 a.m.
 
Upon responding, officers found a 20-year-old man on the road who had injuries consistent with that of being hit by a car.
 
Family members later identified the victim as Martinez.
 
Following the crash, authorities closed down the road to investigate. However, the driver remains at large. If anyone has more information on this hit-and-run accident, please contact the CHP.
