Rollover Crash on Highway 58 in Barstown Badly Injures 4 People

 
BARSTOW, CA. (August 15, 2023) – Four people were airlifted in a rollover accident on Highway 58 in Barstow Tuesday afternoon on August 8.
 
The accident happened around 1:46 p.m., just between Main Street and Lenwood Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling westbound on the highway when it overturned for unknown reasons.
 
Responding firefighters found several patients at the scene. Some of them were ejected from the vehicle.
 
One patient was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with major injuries. Three others were airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center, also with major injuries.
 
Other victims were transported by ground ambulances to a local hospital.
 
The vehicle had major damage from the crash.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
