PALM SPRINGS, CA (August 26, 2021) – Five people suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Ramon Road on August 25.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Cathedral Canyon Drive around 12:18 AM.
 
Based on reports, two vehicles collided in the lanes. The details that led to the accident were not immediately known. However, first responders said the driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot.
 
As a result, at least five people sustained severe injuries in the incident. The Cathedral City Fire Department responded and took the victims to a local hospital for treatment.
