SACRAMENTO, CA (February 23, 2022) – Five people were injured in a high-speed accident on Business 80 in North Sacramento on Wednesday evening.
 
The accident happened on February 23, near the Marconi Avenue curve. According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the car carrying five people was traveling westbound on Business 80 at a high rate of speed when it lost control. It then went off the roadway and ended up on Connie Drive at Naomi Way.
 
During the crash, the driver was ejected from the car. That person suffered critical injuries.
 
Meanwhile, four children inside the car sustained minor injuries.
 
Paramedics transported all five patients to a hospital.
