Deadly Car Crash with Big Rig at Highway 120 in Escalon

 
ESCALON, CA (July 7, 2022) — A fatal car accident involving a big rig at Highway 120 and Sexton Road occurred on Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 2:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, two vehicles, described as a semi-truck and a sedan, collided.
 
It appears the sedan struck the semi-truck, resulting in a fatality.
 
Soon after, Escalon police assisted with traffic control to block both lanes of the highway to investigate. Meanwhile, PG&E reported to the scene to tend to a damaged power pole.
