68-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Van in Antelope Valley

 
ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (February 5, 2023) – Elsa Guzman was hit and killed by a van in Antelope Valley Tuesday on February 2.
 
The fatal crash happened at Avenue J and 200th Street East. According to the CHP, Guzman was standing outside of her disabled 2004 Toyota when a 2011 Ford van traveling west on Avenue J struck her.
 
Guzman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was 68 years old from Riverside, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
 
The driver of the van, a Barstow resident, stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities.
