Driver Killed in Redwood City Three-Car Crash on Highway 101

 
REDWOOD CITY, CA (May 25, 2021) — A driver died in a three-car accident on Highway 101 near Marsh Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4:00 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway. Under unclear conditions, a red pickup truck and a white minivan collided, sending the pickup in the center lane and facing the wrong direction.
 
Subsequently, a third vehicle, described as a white van, crashed head-on with the pickup, killing the truck driver.
 
At this time, officers have no immediate word on what caused the crash or if speed or impairment played a factor. However, if witnesses have more to add to this crash, please contact the CHP officers.
