1 Arrested in DUI Multi-Vehicle Crash on Campus Avenue in Upland

 
UPLAND, CA (February 22, 2024) — A driver faces DUI charges in a multi-car accident on Campus Avenue and 15th Street.
 
According to Upland police officers, the multi-car crash happened on February 20. For DUI reasons, a Mercedes-Benz driver was traveling about 80 miles per hour in the rain. Subsequently, the driver tried to squeeze between a Tesla and a Dodge Ram stopped at the red traffic light at 15th Street. However, the Mercedes-Benz collided with both vehicles.
 
Fortunately, a Good Samaritan saw the car, called 911 and officers soon arrested the drunk driver.
 
Reports did not say if anyone was injured in the accident. However, we will update this report once we receive more information.
