38-Year-Old Woman Dies after Colliding with Boyfriend’s Car in Orange
ORANGE, CA (May 12, 2022) – Didiana Lomeli died in a two-car accident in Orange, early Saturday morning.
Around 5:45 a.m. on May 6, the 38-year-old victim from Anaheim had a fight with her boyfriend at the couple’s Anaheim home. The man left the residence in a sedan headed westbound on Santa Ana Canyon Road and Lomeli pursued in a separate sedan, according to the Orange Police Department.
The two cars collided on Santa Ana Canyon Road near Orange Olive Road. Lomeli’s car rolled over and she was ejected.
First responders tried saving Lomeli, but she died at the scene, according to the Orange County Coroner’s Office.
Meanwhile, the man had minor injuries.
Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in the crash, police said.
