Dawn Ritter Killed, Dominik Cash Arrested in Suspected DUI Crash on B Street and 9th Street

 
MARYSVILLE, CA (January 19, 2021) — A man identified as 55-year-old Dawn Ritter died in an alleged DUI accident on Saturday, January 16.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, 27-year-old Dominik Cash drove southbound on Highway 70. He traveled at speeds more than 100 mph and passed over double yellow lanes.
 
As Cash entered Marysville, officers deployed a spike strip. Cash then traveled into the intersection of B Street at 9th Street against a red light. Then his car collided into the side of another vehicle that moved eastbound on 9th Street.
 
Ritter, the driver of the other vehicle, died in the collision.
 
CHP said that they consider alcohol and drugs as factors in the incident. Officials arrested Cash and booked him into the Yuba County Jail.
