David Brown Arrested, Tracy Battaglia Hospitalized in DUI, Head-On Crash on Highway 36 near Monroe Avenue

 
RED BLUFF, CA (February 14, 2023) — David Brown was arrested in a DUI head-on accident on Highway 36 near Monroe Avenue Sunday night.
 
According to reports, Red Bluff Police Communications Center received multiple calls about a collision around 7:30 p.m. For possible DUI-related reasons, 54-year-old David Brown crashed his eastbound 2010 Toyota Corolla into a westbound 2017 Audi Q3. While the Corolla was traveling at 60 to 70 miles per hour and transporting a 14-year-old, the Audi was moving at about 45 miles per hour before the crash.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel responded to the scene and took the juvenile to a local hospital with minor injuries. Police booked Brown into the Tehama County Jail after police suspected him of DUI. As for Tracy Battaglia, the Audi driver, she suffered moderate injuries and appeared to have a suspended license for DUI.
