Damon Feery and Katelynn Delao Hurt in Truck Crash on Gratton Roa near Underhill Road

 
DENAIR, CA (November 28, 2022) — Two Turlock residents namely Damon Feery, 24, and Katelynn Delao, 25, suffered injuries in a truck accident.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on North Gratton Road, just south of Underhill Road at around 9:06 p.m. on Saturday, November 19.
 
According to the initial investigation, a Chevrolet pickup traveled southbound on North Gratton Road from Underhill Road. Then for an unknown reason, Feery turned it to the left. That movement caused it to leave the roadway from the east edge.
 
The front of the vehicle struck a tree stump. Then it continued in a southerly direction before hitting a tree. After that, it overturned and came to a final stop facing a northwesterly direction.
 
When crews arrived at the crash site found the pickup truck that rolled over and on its roof.
 
Feery who drove the truck and his passenger Delao sustained major injuries. Firefighters freed them from the vehicle. Then medics rushed both to local hospitals.
 
Officials said alcohol and drugs did not contribute to the crash.
