Kanoelani Kirskey Detained, Courtney Dyar Dies in DUI Pedestrian Accident in Oceanside

 
OCEANSIDE, CA (November 10, 2021) Courtney Dyar died in a DUI pedestrian accident on Highway 78 near Emerald Drive this past weekend.
 
According to reports, the fatal incident happened around 5:45 a.m. Sunday. For DUI-related reasons, 24-year-old Kanoelani Kirskey struck 27-year-old Dyar who stepped onto the highway to get around a construction sign.
 
Tragically, Dyar suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
 
Immediately after hitting her, Kirskey continued driving in her Volkswagen vehicle. However, officers arrested her at a nearby gas station on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and DUI.
