MODESTO, CA (July 7, 2023) — Christopher Morgan suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident at Chicago Avenue and Paradise Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident occurred around 7:15 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a 38-year-old Modesto man driving an SUV struck 49-year-old Morgan as he turned right onto the road from Chicago Avenue.
 
As a result, Morgan suffered major injuries in the accident. Upon arriving, paramedics took 49-year-old Morgan to Doctor’s Medical Center for treatment. As for the driver involved, he reported no injuries and was not under the influence, according to CHP.
