Multiple Injuries in Rollover Crash on Vasco Road in Byron

 
BYRON, CA (January 9, 2024) — Several children were among those injured in a rollover accident on Vasco Road near Walnut Boulevard Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the rollover crash happened around 5:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a truck driver tried to pass a slower-moving vehicle by crossing the solid double yellow lines. Subsequently, the truck plowed into a white car, lost control and rolled over.
 
At some point during the crash, a child and a woman were reportedly ejected from the cabin.
 
Soon after, CHP investigators and paramedics responded to find four children and at least two adults in the vehicle that overturned.
