Breogan Cristobal Hurt after Hit-and-Run Accident on Mira Mesa Boulevard near Reagan Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 16, 2022) — A motorcyclist identified as 25-year-old Breogan Cristobal sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash.
Shortly before 6:00 a.m. on September 13, Cristobal rode his motorcycle west on Mira Mesa Boulevard as he approached Reagan Road. After that, he said he had a green light, but saw a Toyota 4Runner moving into the intersection.
According to Cristobal, he saw the SUV turn right, cut across three lanes, and then hit his motorcycle.
The impact of the crash flew Cristobal into the SUV’s rear windshield, helmet first. He was subsequently wedged in the moving SUV. Then he fell out while still gripping his motorcycle.
The accident left Cristobal injured with a concussion, severe bruises on his left side, and some road rash.
He described the hit-and-run driver as a female in her 20s or 30s. According to him she looked at her damage, remained in the area for several minutes, and then fled.
Cristobal now urges the public for help to track down the driver. Officials believe the SUV is an older model, gray Toyota 4Runner. If you have any information, you can contact the SDPD traffic division at 858-495-7800.
