Bicyclist Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Pickup Truck on Hawthorne Boulevard in Lennox

 
LENNOX, CA (January 12, 2024) – A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Hawthorne Boulevard and Lennox Boulevard in Lennox late Wednesday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 11:41 p.m. on January 10. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a red Dodge Ram pickup truck struck the bicyclist at the intersection and fled the scene.
 
When first responders arrived, they located the bicyclist down in the roadway. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the bicyclist was withheld.
 
Authorities are still investigating the crash and searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
