BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 29, 2024) — A bicyclist hit by a semi-truck on Dr Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard near Belle Terrace suffered an injury.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicycle crash happened around noon time Friday. Under unclear circumstances, a semi-truck driver struck a cyclist south of Belle Terrace. As a result, the victim suffered unknown injuries in the crash.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived and took the victim to Kern Medical Center while investigators stopped the driver at Fairfax Road since the motorist was likely unaware that he had struck someone.
