Multi-Vehicle Crash in Brentwood Kills 2 Drivers and Injures 1

 
BRENTWOOD, CA (July 13, 2023) – Bianca Hernandez and Jonathan Flores were killed in multi-vehicle accident in Brentwood Monday morning on July 10.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:37 a.m. on Vasco Road just south of Walnut Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda Fit with one occupant and a silver Nissan Altima driven by Hernandez were traveling southbound on Vasco Road. At the same time, a gray Acura Integra driven by Flores was traveling northbound on Vasco Road.
 
For unknown reasons, the Nissan rear-ended the Honda. It then crossed over into the northbound lane and collided head-on with the Acura.
 
As a result, Hernandez and Flores both died at the scene. Hernandez was 22 years old from Antioch and Flores was a 34-year-old Modesto resident, according to the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office.
 
Meanwhile, the Honda driver sustained minor injuries.
