DELANO, CA (September 15, 2022) — At least one person was injured in a multi-car accident on Highway 99 near Woollomes Avenue on Thursday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle collision happened before 6:20 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a black Chevrolet vehicle and several other cars crashed, leaving one person with minor injuries.
 
Moments later, fire crews responded to the scene to tend to the injured patient while CHP authorities closed down at least one slow lane until 7:25 a.m.
