FT. TEJON, CA (January 31, 2023) — At least one person reported injuries after a bus and a car crashed on the 5 Freeway near Laval Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on January 26. Under unclear circumstances, a shuttle bus crashed into a passenger vehicle on the 5 South Freeway. As a result, commuters faced closure on the freeway, as Kern County Fire Department blocked the No. 1 and 2 lanes.
