At Least 1 Hospitalized in 2-Car Crash on Highway 14 in Newhall

 
NEWHALL, CA (January 17, 2023) — At least one person was injured in a 2-car accident on Highway 14 near the 5 Freeway.
 
According to California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Fire Department officials, the two-vehicle crash happened around 11:34 a.m. Saturday. What authorities thought involved three cars only involved two when two drivers crashed and blocked the No. 1 lane.
 
One of the cars involved appeared to be a white Chevy Malibu.
 
Paramedics responded to the scene and treated at least one person with minor injuries. Reports did not specify what led to the two-vehicle collision on the southbound side of the highway, but CHP investigators will look into the details to identify the factors.
