At Least 1 Dies in Brisbane Crash on Highway 101
BRISBANE, CA (October 10, 2022) — At least one person died in an accident on Highway 101 near Harney Way Saturday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 4:16 a.m. near the Harney Way on-ramp. Under unclear circumstances, a crash occurred and drew CHP officers to the scene around 5:11 a.m.
Responding authorities confirmed at least one fatality.
Police closed multiple lanes so crews could work on the scene. By 6:18 a.m., they opened the lanes to the public.
At this time, officers do not have information on how the crash happened, the victims’ names and what drove the accident.
However, an investigation by the CHP should confirm any unclear details. If anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
