Anthony Aceves Detained for DUI after Striking Officer on Steckel Drive at Estriga Court
SANTA PAULA, CA (July 8, 2021) — Anthony Aceves was arrested for DUI after hitting an officer on Steckel Drive at Estriga Court Sunday night.
According to the Santa Paula Police Department, the accident happened around 11:00 p.m. For DUI-related reasons, 40-year-old Aceves struck a patrol car and a police officer who was on-site investigating illegal fireworks in the area.
As a result, the officer suffered unknown injuries. Following the crash, police arrested Aceves, of Santa Paula, for DUI, while paramedics rushed the officer to a hospital for treatment.
