Angelica Medina Charged in Deadly DUI Pedestrian Crash, 2 Pedestrians Die in Different Crashes at Kidder Avenue and Sunset Boulevard

 
FAIRFIELD (October 4, 2024) Angelica Medina faces DUI charges following a fatal pedestrian accident at Kidder Avenue and Travis Boulevard.
 
According to the Fairfield Police Department, the deadly pedestrian crash happened around 11:01 p.m. Wednesday. For DUI reasons, 44-year-old Angelica Medina struck a woman crossing East Travis Boulevard at Kidder Avenue. Subsequently, Medina pulled her pickup over and medics arrived, but the victim passed away from her injuries.
 
After the crash, police arrested Medina, of Suisun City, for DUI and booked her into the Solano County Jail for vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
 
The next day, a driver fled the scene after hitting and killing a man walking across Sunset Boulevard. These two incidences have been a few of the many pedestrian accidents in Fairfield.
