Alexis Garcia Booked, Neveah Flores and Alenia Flores Die in Hit-and-Run 3-Car Crash at Walnut Avenue and Riverside Avenue
RIALTO, CA (November 26, 2024) — Police arrested Alexis Garcia following Sunday’s deadly hit-and-run three-car crash at Walnut Avenue and Riverside Avenue.
According to the Rialto Police Department, the deadly multi-car crash happened around 11:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, 28-year-old Garcia ran a red light at the intersection. Subsequently, his Ram truck barreled through the intersection and broadsided a Honda, driven by a 24-year-old woman and occupied by a 25-year-old male passenger and his two toddlers.
Subsequently, the force sent the Honda into a tow truck.
Instead of stopping and checking on the victims, Garcia of Buellton left the scene, but officers found and booked him in for DUI and murder.
Tragically, the 3- and 4-year-old girls in the Honda passed away. Their step-grandmother identified them as Neveah Flores and Alenia Flores. Both children were strapped in their car seats despite one of them being ejected during the collision.
The 24-year-old woman and tow truck driver were unharmed, but the male Honda passenger was taken to a trauma center with moderate injuries.
If anyone can help detectives with this case, call the Rialto Police.
Our deepest sympathies are with the families and friends of Neveah Flores and Alenia Flores.
