Adan Villanueva Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Navajo Road near Ojai Road

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (November 23, 2021) — Adan Villanueva died in a pedestrian accident on Navajo Road near Ojai Road, Saturday night.
 
According to officials, the fatal pedestrian crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a white GMC Terrain struck 41-year-old Villanueva in the No. 1 southbound lane of Navajo Road. In the investigation, officers learned that the driver was heading southbound while the Victorville man tried crossing westbound.
 
Despite receiving life-saving efforts, Villanueva succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver stayed and cooperated with police investigators who have not released information on where the fault lies or other details.
