Rider Dies in Madera County Motorcycle Crash on Road 415

 
MADERA COUNTY, CA (November 23, 2021) — A rider died in a motorcycle accident on Road 415 near Highway 41 on Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. in Coarsegold. At an unknown speed, a female driver pulled out to make a left turn to head east on Road 415. However, a westbound motorcyclist traveling on Road 415 struck the left side of the Toyota Prius.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the motorcyclist suffered severe injuries and died at the scene. As for the driver, she reportedly complained of pain.
 
At this time, investigators have not released information on the fault or other details of the crash. However, an autopsy should establish if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the accident.
