Two-Car Accident on Tulare Avenue Kills Elderly Passenger and Injures Two
TULARE, CA (December 7, 2021) – An 82-year-old woman was killed in a two-car accident at Tulare Avenue and Cherry Street on Saturday morning.
The fatal accident happened around 11:20 a.m. on December 4. According to the Tulare Police Department, a gray Infiniti sedan was traveling westbound on Tulare Avenue when it hit a red Toyota sedan on its passenger side.
The impact severely injured the elderly woman who was sitting in the back passenger seat of the Toyota. Paramedics rushed her to a hospital, where she later died.
The driver and the front passenger of the Toyota suffered unspecified injuries.
Meanwhile, the occupants of the Infiniti were not injured.
Police are still investigating the accident to determine the exact cause and factors involved. They asked anyone with further information to contact Officer Veracruz at 559-685-2300.
