Small Plane Crashes at Road 68 and Avenue 288 Killing Four People

 
VISALIA, CA (December 7, 2021) – Four people died in a small plane crash at Road 68 and Avenue 288 on Saturday night.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:40 p.m. on December 4, just west of the Visalia Municipal Airport. According the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, the single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft carrying the four victims had crashed about 16 seconds after taking off from the airport.
 
Deputies said it was very foggy when they arrived. Officers had to fan out to find the crash site.
 
Sadly, all four people on board were killed in the crash. Their identities were not immediately available.
 
At this time, it is still unknown what led to the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the fatality.
