80-Year-Old Dies in Overturned Crash at Williams Road in Salinas

 
SALINAS, CA (July 31, 2023) — An 80-year-old woman died in an overturned accident at Williams Road and Freedom Parkway.
 
According to Salinas Police officers, the solo-car accident happened around 8:36 p.m. Thursday. Upon responding, officers found two people with major injuries in an overturned vehicle.
 
Minutes later, paramedics arrived and transported the victims to a hospital where the 80-year-old woman died of her injuries. The 78-year-old man appears to be in stable condition as of late.
 
Authorities do not have the victim’s name or an explanation for what led the vehicle to crash and overturn. However, if anyone has information on this crash, please call the Salinas police officers.
