78-Year-Old Woman Dies, 2-Car Crash at Golf Course Drive in Rohnert Park

 
ROHNERT PARK, CA (December 23, 2022) — A 78-year-old woman died in a 2-car accident at Golf Course Drive and Labath Avenue.
 
According to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety, the two-vehicle crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, an eastbound GMC traveling on Golf Course Drive crashed into a westbound Mercedes attempting a southbound turn onto Labath Avenue.
 
Shortly after emergency personnel reached the scene and found the Mercedes on Golf Course Drive West and the GMC in a ravine. Despite rendering life-saving measures, paramedics declared the 78-year-old Mercedes driver deceased moments later. Her identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
 
As for the GMC driver, that person suffered moderate injuries in the accident. Currently, authorities do not suspect alcohol and drugs to have played as factors in the accident. Although, an ongoing investigation should determine the liabilities.
