Pedestrian Dies in Crash Involving Eight Vehicles on Lewis Street in Garden Grove

 
GARDEN GROVE, CA (May 29, 2023) – A 73-year-old man was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Lewis Street in Garden Grove Saturday night on May 27.
 
According to the Garden Grove Police Department, eight vehicles collided in the 12100 block of Lewis Street just before 6:00 p.m.
 
The elderly man, a pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities only identified him as a Winchester resident.
 
No further details were released at this time.
 
Officers said alcohol or drugs did not appear to be a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
