Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Beach Boulevard in Westminster

 
WESTMINSTER, CA (January 24, 2024) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Beach Boulevard in Westminster early Tuesday morning on January 23.
 
According to the Westminster Police Department, the man was walking in the 14600 block of Beach Boulevard when a car struck him just after 2:00 a.m. The car fled the scene after the crash.
 
First responders found the man in the northbound lanes with fatal injuries. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Authorities only identified the victim as a 62-year-old Tustin resident. They withheld his identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
No information about the suspected driver or their vehicle has been released.
