Intoxicated Driver Causes Crash in Apple Valley Involving Five Vehicles and Injuring Six People

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (August 7, 2023) – Six people were injured and Json Tremayne Pitts Davis was arrested after a DUI Crash in Apple Valley Saturday evening on July 29.
 
The crash happened just before 9:00 p.m. on Highway 18 at Rancherias Road. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, five vehicles collided at the intersection.
 
The occupants of the four vehicles, including two children, suffered minor to moderate injuries. Paramedics transported four of the victims to local hospitals for treatment.
 
The other two were treated at the scene.
 
Davis, a 43-year-old Apple Valley resident was determined to have been driving under the influence of alcohol. Deputies arrested him and took him to the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto. His bail is set at $250,000.
