Multiple People Injured in Four-Vehicle Accident on West Parthenia Street in Northridge
NORTHRIDGE, CA (August 28, 2024) – Four people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on West Parthenia Street, Monday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident happened on August 26, at about 7:50 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, four vehicles collided in the 19700 block of West Parthenia Street at the intersection of Corbin Avenue.
Emergency crews reportedly had to extricate two trapped victims.
Three women were later transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. The fourth victim, a 33-year-old man, refused medical transport.
Responders temporarily closed the area to make way for clearing operations and an investigation.
The Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
