Five Vehicles Collide on 10 Freeway in Blythe Injuring Four People, Two Seriously
BLYTHE, CA (June 27, 2023) – Four people were Injured in a five-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway in Blythe Saturday morning on June 24.
The accident happened around 5:50 a.m. near Corn Springs Road. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, five vehicles collided along the westbound freeway in unclear circumstances.
When officers arrived, they found a total of four patients. Two people suffered major injuries and two others sustained minor injuries.
Three of the patients were extricated from vehicles.
Air ambulances rushed the two seriously injured patients to a trauma center.
No further information was immediately available. The exact cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
