3 Suspects Killed in Rollover Accident, Police Pursuit near 80 Freeway in Fairfield

 
FAIRFIELD, CA (February 23, 2023) — Three suspects died in a rollover crash following a police chase near the 80 Freeway and Suisun Valley Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly single-car accident first occurred around 12:40 a.m. Wednesday. Multiple armed suspects reportedly tried to steal a white Hyundai in the 1000 block of Tennessee Street in Vallejo. Soon after, police tried to stop the suspects, but they hopped into the car and drove on the 80 Freeway toward Fairfield.
 
A chase unfolded as the driver led police off the freeway at Suisun Valley Road. That is when the car crashed at a high rate of speed, overturned several times and ejected three occupants.
 
All three suspects died in the accident, including a minor. The person whose car was stolen reported no injuries in the incident.
 
Deputies released no other information surrounding this crash, but an ongoing investigation will confirm the details.
