3 Hurt in Overturned Big Rig Crash on Highway 50 in Placerville

 
PLACERVILLE, CA (July 28, 2023) — Paramedics transported three people to a hospital following an overturned semi-truck accident on Highway 50 near Spring Street.
 
According to reports, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, a Toyota RAV4 and a Tesla Model 3 turning north onto Spring Street from Highway 50 crashed into a westbound semi-truck.
 
However, authorities with the Placerville Police Department do not know if either car was responsible for causing the big rig to overturn.
