3 Hospitalized in Pursuit Crash at Clinton Avenue and Wishon Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Police Pursuit Ends in Crash at Clinton and Wishon Avenues in Central Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (March 8, 2023) – Three people were hospitalized in a pursuit crash at Clinton Avenue and Wishon Avenue in central Fresno Sunday night on March 5.
 
According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle for traffic violations at Maroa and Fedora avenues. The suspect took off leading to a brief pursuit.
 
The suspect ran a red light at Clinton and Wishon avenues when they crashed into another vehicle carrying three people.
 
The three people inside the other vehicle sustained injuries from the crash and were all taken to a nearby hospital.
 
The suspect was later taken into custody and had active warrants for his arrest. Officials also found burglary tools in his car.
 
An investigation into this crash is underway.
