Multi-Vehile Pileup on Jamboree Road in Irvine Sends 3 People to hospital

 
IRVINE, CA (May 23, 2023) – Three people were hospitalized in a multi-vehicle pileup on Jamboree Road in Irvine Friday afternoon on May 19.
 
The crash happened around 2:20 p.m. at the intersection with Main Street. According to the Irvine Police Department, four vehicles collided in unclear circumstances.
 
Photos from the scene show a white SUV sustained the most serious damage and rolled onto its side. The three other vehicles had rear-end damage.
 
Firefighters had to extricate two people from their cars. The conditions of those injured were not available.
 
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
