Two Vehicles Collide on West Eight Street in Westlake Area

 
WESTLAKE, CA (August 25, 2024) – Two women were severely injured in a two-vehicle accident on West Eight Street in the Westlake area Thursday afternoon on August 22.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, two vehicles collided in the 1400 block of West Eighth Street just before 2:00 p.m.
 
Responding firefighters freed the 28-year-old woman from the one of the vehicles. That woman was in critical condition. The 32-year-old woman was listed in serious condition.
 
Both women were rushed to a hospital for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, a third person declined medical treatment.
 
At this time, the circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
