2 Officers Hospitalized in Sherman Oaks Police Chase Accident near 405 Freeway

 
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (February 19, 2024) — Two officers were injured in a police chase accident near the 405 Freeway and Ventura Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the chase happened around 11:00 p.m. Friday. Upon spotting a stolen vehicle, two CHP units began pursuing the suspect. Subsequently, the suspected stolen Kia sedan exited Ventura Boulevard when the two CHP units collided.
 
Not long after, the Kia sedan parked at a nearby parking lot, where three suspects took off on foot. Fortunately, law enforcement took two of the three suspects into custody.
 
Reports did not include information on the officers’ medical conditions. However, if anyone has more to add to this collision, call the CHP.
